New Coaching Update

As the DOC of Irvine Premier Soccer Club, I am very excited and proud to announce the hiring of four top quality coaches. These outstanding soccer mentors will be excellent teachers for our club players and have proven player development skills. The newest members of the IPSC coaching staff are as follows:

Felipe Gonzales: is the former Chivas USA Academy coach, Inglewood high school coach and has a USSF National C license. His addition to the B01 boys’ team will be a tremendous asset for the boys’ development to help them reach their greatest potential.

Jose Pacheco: as a former Director of Coaching, Jose is known for his successful teams. Jose teaches the great game of soccer with his heart, to utilize skills, play with strength and perseverance and has a USSF National D license. Jose will be coaching the B96 and B03 boys’ teams.

Simon Kardos: is the assistant coach and goal keeper coach at Soka University. As a goal keeper for the Anaheim Bolts, Simon will coach the B02 boys’ team. Simon will also be assisting Coach Cano with the IPSC keepers.

Rosie Levy: former college player at Wheaton College and is the assistant coach at Soka University. Rosie will be coaching the G02 team and assist Coach Cano with the G99 team.

I am very excited they have joined Irvine Premier Soccer Club. The upcoming season is going to be awesome!
Please welcome them all and don’t be afraid to say “Hi” to them when you see them on the practice field.

IPSC Donates Bownet Soccer Goals UCI

The Irvine Premier Soccer Club donated Bownet soccer goals to the University of California, Irvine (UCI) Men’s and Women’s soccer teams. The Bownet soccer goals were used at the UCI youth soccer camps. The Irvine Premier Soccer Club sponsored the Goals for Wells soccer camp. A local Concordia college soccer player had the opportunity to visit Uganda last summer and along with several lifelong college soccer friends found an opportunity to do something good, through soccer. In 2010 they launched Goals for Wells project to raise funds for the Uganda clean water effort.

Marine Cano New Coaching Director

Irvine Premier SC is proud to announce Coach Marine Cano as its new Coaching Director. Coach Cano is a USSF A National Advanced licensed college coach and brings with him a wealth of soccer knowledge and proven experience at both the professional and collegiate level.

B01 Competed in U10 Silver South

The Irvine Premier B01 team competed in the CSL U10 Silver South bracket for the Fall season. Coach Michael Andraos and team trainer, Tony Adams, trained and enhanced the team’s soccer skills as they competed against other Silver teams in CSL. As a result of their tenacity and hard work, the team will remain in the Silver division for the following Fall season.

In the recent CSL League Cup, the Irvine Premier B01 team made it to the round of 32, after successful wins in San Bernardino. The team will now hold open tryouts, as they look to next year, moving to the U11 Silver division. They will look to add four additional players as the team progresses to 11v11 soccer in the U11 division in 2012.
